Privacy Policy
Effective: September 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SocialUpload handles information when its operator connects a social-media account and uses the desktop application to publish content.
Information processed
SocialUpload may process account identifiers, public profile information, authorization tokens, selected video files, captions, publishing preferences, and status or error information returned by connected platforms.
How information is used
- To authenticate an account after the account owner grants permission.
- To upload or publish content selected by the operator.
- To display publishing status and troubleshoot failed requests.
Storage and security
Authorization credentials are stored in the operating system's protected credential storage where supported. Temporary media downloaded for publishing may be removed from the computer after the publishing operation. SocialUpload does not sell personal information.
Sharing
Information is sent to TikTok, Instagram, Google Drive, or another connected service only as needed to perform an operator-requested function. Each connected service processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Local configuration and publishing history remain on the operator's computer until removed. The operator may disconnect platform access, revoke authorization through the relevant platform settings, or delete local application data.
Children
SocialUpload is not directed to children and is intended for use by an authorized account operator.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the application's functionality or platform requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
